Welcome to the Bo'ness Gauge O Group (BoGOG) Website!
The group operate the Glenauchter layout which has been a work in progress since 1993 (it still isn't quite finished). The station itself is loosely based upon Gleneagles station during the 1930s. Gleneagles is situated between Stirling and Perth on the former Caledonian Railway mainline.
The vast majority of the trains that you will see on the layout are the type that operated in Scotland during the heyday of steam operation, although 'Tractors', 'Kings', 'Terriers' and a whole plethora of 'foreign' locomotives have graced it's sidings!
What you see and experience today is mostly hand built by the members of the group; the layout, the scenery and the rolling stock. The carriages the layout is housed in have been kindly supplied by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society and are maintained by the group.
The model railway is open to the public on weekends between April and late December - when the Big Railway (the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway) is operating.
So why not pay a visit and watch the trains go by?
